Drawing from real life; This is a challenge but a good challenge! Working from a real object as opposed to a photo or painting etc. This helps you to develop your own artistic style and voice as well as developing skills and technique. Those three dimensional forms can be tricky but with a little bit of accurate shading and tonal painting you'll capture that 3D quality in your work.
