Top Tip Tuesday…Coloured pencil (normal or water soluble) can add a lovely depth and texture to a watercolour painting. Liddy uses a brown coloured pencil to pick out the texture of the paper and add shade and a white water soluble pencil to add highlight. The beauty of water soluble pencils is that they are often bold in colour and creamy in texture so you get a good coverage- and you don't need to activate them with water. (This video has no sound)
