Service Description

A brand new weekly art club at Namji Desi Cafe Running from 10am to 12 noon we'll provide all the materials for you to paint the week's theme, confidently guided by Nicole. Grab yourself a coffee, have a natter and get creative...maybe stay for a spot of lunch! Coffee and cake is not included in the price, just a suggestion! From Active/Creative events to Sip and Paint and more regularly at our weekly sessions. A talented artist, she guides in a measured gentle way that is perfect for setting beginners and improvers at ease Liddy is the creative force and main tutor with Something Less Boring. She is a qualified Illustrator and also a qualified teacher. All our paintings are designed and created by her Liddy taught art for over 10 years at secondary school level before leaving to found Something Less Boring in 2017 with the aim of bringing art and sport to all ages regardless of ability in a fun, creative and inclusive way. Since April 2020 we estimate that Liddy has taught close to 500 online art sessions In her own words: "From as long as I can remember I have always dreamt about being an artist and illustrator. My passion has always been for art and I have always enjoyed being creative. Some of my fondest childhood memories are those spent with my siblings creating stories, drawing illustrations and making books. I guess it was from here that a profound love for all things creative was born and nurtured." Namji's Desi Cafe is a not-for-profit eatery Diners at the cafe can donate a 'suspended meal' to provide a homeless person with a hot meal - an easy way to do something positive in our community. https://www.namji.uk/menu

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy. Standard - Allows transfer or cancellation 10 days before the course/workshop start date. Flexible - Allows cancellation up to 10 days before or transfer up to 24 hours before course/workshop start date Note - this does not apply to online events, bookings can be transferred up to 24 hours before the event starts Should Covid restrictions prevent the course from running, a full refund or transfer will be offered. Please arrive 10 minutes before the course start time
